The Cancellation and Refund Policy of the Spicy Hub app ensures transparency and fairness for both our customers and our partner restaurants. It is designed to provide a clear understanding of the rules and procedures for canceling food orders and requesting refunds, while maintaining a smooth and positive user experience.

Order Cancellation Window

  • Orders can be canceled only before the restaurant begins preparing the food.

  • Once the preparation process has started, the order cannot be canceled or modified.

  • This policy helps prevent food wastage and ensures efficient kitchen operations.

Cancellation Process

  • Users can cancel their orders directly through the “Order History” section of the Spicy Hub app by selecting the “Cancel Order” option.

  • If the restaurant has already started preparing the food, the system will not allow the cancellation to proceed.

  • You will receive a confirmation notification once your order is successfully canceled.

  • Delivered food cannot be returned.

Refund Policy

  • If an order is canceled within the allowed time frame, a full refund will be initiated to the original payment method used during the transaction.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, and it will be credited to the original payment method within 7 - 10 days/business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Please note that processing times may vary slightly based on the mode of payment (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, or net banking).

Special Circumstances:

  • Restaurant Delays: 
    In cases where the restaurant experiences unexpected delays or issues in preparing your food, Spicy Hub may allow cancellation without any cancellation fee, and a full refund will be processed.

  • Technical Glitches:
    If a technical issue within the Spicy Hub app prevents you from canceling an order, our support team will review your case individually. Eligible orders will be refunded accordingly.

  • Quality and Food Safety:
    If the delivered food does not meet expected quality, freshness, or safety standards, you may raise a complaint through the Spicy Hub app or contact our Customer Support Team. Each case will be reviewed carefully, and a suitable refund or resolution will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
